All items sold by Brigham Young University Surplus are sold AS IS and may or may not have been tested. Items will be tested on request at time of purchase and pick up. All sales are final at the time of purchase. No returns or refunds after purchase.
All items listed are for Pick-Up ONLY; no deliveries. All payments made by cash or check must be made in person. Exchanges are allowed for similar items (where applicable) only before time of purchase. Reserved items not purchased after one week up will be re-listed and will no longer be held in reserve. We reserve the right to deny service to any and every party. Prices are subject to change.
LINING UP: We will be issuing numbers starting at 8:00 am on the east side of the building. We will hand them out every 30 minutes after that (8:30, 9:00, 9:30, etc.). Please do not ring the bell for a number, as we are trying to prepare for the sale. We hand out numbers in the hope that it will prevent a number of people coming just before the sale and getting in line with friends or family, jumping ahead of others. Each number will admit one person only. Friends and family arriving later must get their own numbers when they arrive.
COMPUTER PURCHASES: The computer you purchase may or may not match the specs listed online. As a surplus seller, our computers vary in their specs and we cannot assure that their specs will be identical to those listed online. Our best computers will be sold on a “first come, first served” basis.
LIMITATIONS: There have been some questions regarding volume purchasing of surplus items. To be fair to individuals who wait in lines, we will limit some items.
Working laptops are limited to 1 per customer until 5:30, after 5:30 no limit.
Furniture will be limited until 5:00 to the following per customer:
Office Hours for Pickup
Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 6:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am - 3:00pm
Please Note - While items are available for purchase M-F until 5:30 pm, no staff will be available to assist in loading items after 4 pm (unless otherwise specified). No staff will be available to assist in loading items on Saturdays. However, during listed open hours, dollies and carts will be available for use in loading. Doors automatically lock at 6 pm, and we are not authorized to unlock them. Please take this into consideration when planning your pickup.
Purchased items must be picked up within three business days of sale, or they will be relisted for sale.
