BYU Electronic Surplus is a branch of BYU’s Office of IT handling outdated, discarded, or otherwise unused electronic devices and equipment. We see a lot of surplus, but still serviceable, equipment—computers, VCRs, keyboards, projectors, and even office furniture. Our goal is to make sure those items are returned to use.
Whatever the items, we give them special care and sell them to schools, small companies, and individuals, all of whom benefit from significant savings. BYU students and employees can also choose to rent computers with pre-installed software. We hold computer and furniture surplus sales periodically in the Ellsworth Building. To receive email notices of such sale, send an email to surplus@byu.edu, or hit the subscribe button on the right
