Surplus Sale Guidelines

We appreciate your continued support in BYU Surplus Sales! We are trying to improve each sale and make it a positive experience for everyone.

Lining Up

Please line up according to your number. Each number admits only one person. Friends and family must obtain their own numbers or wait at the end of the line. Please be considerate of others.

Limitations

To be fair to individuals who wait in line, we will limit the number of specialty items that can be purchased per customer. Details will be given in the email sent out before the sale.

Sale Etiquette

Please only set aside items you intend to purchase on your cart. Be considerate to others and make decisions promptly to give everyone the chance to participate in the sale.

If at any time during the sale you have a question or concern, please direct them to any nearby employee. Employees will be wearing yellow vests and hats to make them more visible.

Please be kind and considerate to your fellow customers. Don't run, shove, or fight over items. Respect each other's space and carts. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone exhibiting rude or unwanted behavior.

Purchasing

All items purchased are sold AS IS and may or may not have been tested. A testing bench will be available for you to test products before purchase. No returns or refunds.

Computer Purchase

Due to the nature of surplus, our computers vary in their specs. Each item is clearly labeled with their corresponding specs. Our best computers will be sold on a “first-come, first-served” basis.

Pickup Instructions

Unless previous arrangements have been made, purchased items must be picked up within three business days of the sale, or they will be relisted for sale. Items can be picked up any time Mon-Fri during regular office hours.

Please Note: Dollies and carts that are available may be used to help while loading. However, we cannot guarantee that any personnel will be able to assist you.
